A former MLB player learned his fate Friday after pleading guilty to sex crimes against a teenage girl he was trusted with to train in softball. Dustan Mohr, 47, was sentenced to 9 years in an Indiana jail for three separate charges for sexually fondling a 13-year-old girl multiple times over a six-month span. The girls family hired Mohr to provide softball le sons at Strike Zone Training Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, When the family chose the training facility to send their daughter, they were told it was a safe place for children. Mohr was also accused of sexually touching the girl while they were inside his vehicle and provided the minor a separate phone so they could communicate and share private digital images, the outlet reported, citing court documents. The girls father claimed Mohr spread lies about him to his daughter telling his victim her father was an awful person that was mentally and emotionally abusive. Mohr had even gained acce s to the girls phone and blocked certain parental controls, but the protective father was still able to track down his daughters location to Mohrs home and rescued her from rape, the outlet reported. In March, Mohr plead guilty to three felony charges Child Solicitation, Child Seduction- Fondling/Touching with intent to arouse a minor between the ages 14-16 and Sexual Misconduct with a minor, all Felony 5 offenses, according to inmate records. A Felony 5 sentence ranges from one to six years each. On Friday, Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull sentenced Mohr to 15 years, six years suspended.
